How does food affect your emotions?

Nutritional Tips 🌱🌱🌱
Use the following principles as guidelines for your diet. If you are hungry and have a craving for sweets, junk food, fattening foods, alchohol, snack foods etc evaluate your emotions and reasons for craving and relate them to the following principles. Question your emotions at all times.
Truth – Am I really hungry? Am I medicating my emotions with junk foods/alcohol? Does my body need nourishment? Am I being giving in to my taste buds? Am I treating food as if it has a hold over me?

Justice – Have I checked the ingredients, the chemicals in the food? Does my choice of food give nutritional justice to my body or does it nutritionally starve my body?

Righteousness – Is the food good for my temple? Is there a healthy alternative I can eat instead of junk?

Harmony – How does eating junk food serve my body and benefit my wellness?

Balance – Does eating this food maintain a biochemical balance or does it cause a negative drain of energy?

Order – Does the food contain a sufficient amount of nutrients?

Propriety – is the food adding to my wellness and helping me to eliminate or decrease my intake of packaged, processed, synthetic foods, dead animal flesh, cloned, chemical-laced preservatives?

Compassion – Do I accept that my wellness add to the health of my exterior surroundings/people around me/children and future children or do I feel deprived when I do not eat junk?
Reciprocity – Am I using food to seek comfort, punish myself, maintain low self-esteem or am I using to reward myself? Does this food ultimately cause disease or wellness?

Think of all the cells alive in your body, their purpose and the reason for their being. Now try to practise awareness of the connection between your emotions and your food. Observe the difference between when you are being involuntary sucked into eating because of emotional discomfort and when you are voluntary leading yourself to eat what your body truly needs and respects.

My fruit salad in image includes banana, mango, rambutan, dragon-fruit, strawberries, star fruit and chinese pear topped with raw coconut flakes, pomegranate, passionfruit and cinnamon. 😍😜
